Hawke's Bay is located on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island  and is accessible by air, land and sea so getting here is nice and easy.

Hawke's Bay is a land of food ,wine and architecture, rural vistas of rolling hillsides and sandy beaches.



Hawke's Bay offers many activities and attractions for families whether it,s a visit to the gannets at Cape Kidnappers by tractor and trailer or overland past the famous Cape Kidnapper’s golf course.


Cycle Trails

The cycle trails link up Napier Hastings and Havelock North and go past beaches wildlife reserves and wineries. You can vist the wineries by bike own transport or try some of the local wine tours.


Farmers Markets

Visit the famous farmers markets in the show grounds of Hastings and a smaller one in Napier.


Local Food

There are many top restaurants and wineries featuring local food and produce and specialty food stores and roadside stalls with seasonal fruits and vegetables which Hawke's Bay is famous for. Fruits include stone and berry fruits and juicy Hawke's Bay apples.


Art Deco Buildings

Napier is famous for it's Art deco buildings rebuilt after the 1930 earthquake and festivals in February where the whole city comes alive in festivities and people from all over the world dress up in deco design with vintage cars.


Scenic Trails

Northern and Southern Hawke's Bay has numerous scenic trails, lakes bush, gardens and beautiful vistas, which include many walks of the countryside to the sea, ballooning and hang gliding.



Hawke's Bay is known for it's winery concerts,the most famous being the Mission and Church Road concerts in Napier or the Black Barn concerts in Havelock North. Other smaller wineries have regular event though the summer season.



There are many well known artists and sculpturers and there is a very interesting art trail available and the National Aquarium is also a must see and do.
